10 years of Swiss sleep innovation – illustrated
To celebrate ten years of Dagsmejan, we created an anniversary print that tells our story visually. More than a decorative design, the print is a carefully composed illustration of our origins, our values, and our vision for the future.
Every symbol has been chosen deliberately. Together, they form a visual narrative that connects Swiss innovation with Zurich’s way of life — and our belief that better sleep is the foundation of better living.
Swiss sleep innovation – born in the lab, proven in real life
The Swiss flag and alpine mountain landscapes represent the foundation of Dagsmejan: Swiss science, precision, and quality.
From the very beginning, Dagsmejan has been rooted in scientific research — developing materials and designs that support the body’s natural sleep and recovery processes. The mountains symbolise stability, reliability, and performance under real-life conditions: innovation that works not only in theory, but night after night.
Zurich as our brand home
Elements such as the Zurich lake fountain, the river Limmat, and the flower market represent Zurich — the city where Dagsmejan was founded and where our brand continues to grow.
They stand for quality of life, understated beauty, and the balance between nature and city living. Zurich is not just our location; it is part of our mindset: calm, precise, thoughtful, and quietly progressive.

At the heart of the illustration are symbols of everyday rituals: a sleep mask, breakfast with coffee, and a notebook.
They represent a simple but powerful belief: a good day starts the night before. Restorative sleep shapes our energy, focus, mood, and wellbeing. These elements reflect regeneration, clarity, and the small morning moments that feel different when you’ve truly slept well.
The beginnings of Dagsmejan
The first Dagsmejan office at Zürich’s Mühle Tiefenbrunnen marks where the journey began.
This symbol stands for curiosity, entrepreneurial spirit, and the courage to challenge conventions — turning an idea into a brand dedicated entirely to improving sleep. What started as a small beginning grew into a mission with international reach.

The Fraumünster church, located opposite our current office, symbolises Dagsmejan today.
It represents continuity and growth — a brand firmly rooted in Zurich, shaped by experience, and ready for the future. From local beginnings to global customers, our commitment remains the same: to design sleepwear that supports deeper rest and better living.
